Located across from the Parc Montsouris in Paris’ 14th arrondissement, the Fondation des Etats-Unis is a private student residence and cultural center within the international community of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.

Spaces:
Opened in 1930, the Fondation des Etats-Unis offers 267 individual rooms for American and international students, including a select number of artist ateliers and music studios in which exceptional students of visual arts and music may live and work.

The Fondation also offers its residents several communal spaces, including a library, a computer room, smaller study rooms, a recreation space, and a music room.

Culture:
The Fondation des Etats-Unis presents a rich and varied cultural season which includes concerts, exhibits, lectures and round-table discussions.

The cornerstone of the season is PONT – Portes Ouvertes aux Nouveaux Talents, a program designed to help residents of the Fondation “bridge” the gap between student and young professional by helping to organize showcase opportunities for its members.

All cultural events take place in the Grand Salon, the Fondation’s historically significant Art Deco hall, which is home to rare frescos by the French artist Robert La Montagne Saint Hubert.
