Come and listen to this concert of contemporary music for saxophone, presented by the CRR/ Pôle supérieur de Boulogne-Billancourt saxophone ensemble.

The program :

Luis de PABLO : Ouverture à la française

Francois ROSSE : XIMIX for soprano saxophone duo

Alain LOUVIER : NONAGONE for piano and saxophone octet (dir: A Louvier)

George GERSHWIN : Preludes for saxophone quartet (arr: J HARLE)

Benjamin BRITTEN : Six metamorphoses after Ovid (Op. 49)

Marcel MIHALOVICI : First song for tenor sax and piano

Christian LAUBA : Morna

Dmitri SHOSTAKOVITCH : 1st mvt of symphony No 9 for saxophone octet (arr: P BERNARD)

With the participation of the following musicians: Taishi OGURA, Sylvia TOUMAYAN, Maxime CHAUVIN, Clément DUSSUTOUR, Antonin CHABRAT, Perig LE CADRE, Anna SCHWARTZ, as well as the participation of Alyssa HOFFERT, a resident of the FEU, and those of Noa MICK, Don-Paul KAHL and Nicky PURSER, three former residents.

The concert will be in one part and will last about 1:15 max.
