90TH ANNIVERSARY | Fondation des Etats-Unis’ New Logo

The Fondation des Etats-Unis turns 90 today! A grand age that we would have liked to celebrate with you in our beautiful 1930s residence. An online celebration it will be for now, welcoming the FEU into its 10th decade with a new look! We are delighted to unveil the FEU’s new logo today: a single line drawing to honour the Art Deco style of the building and the singular experience of resident life, shared by many generations. We are deeply touched by the community spirit, especially at this time, and are reminded of the power of international cultural exchanges and the mission of the Cité international campus, which, above providing housing, promotes unity and peace among students from all around the world.

This single line building also represents the line of the FEU’s ongoing projects, be it the renovations or the constantly evolving cultural program. A continuous line that traces the contours of the FEU and its rich history in all their complexity. A line that reminds us of the Grand Salon, a space dedicated to encounters and festivities, where we will not only commemorate many generations of composers and musicians, but also the founders, Homer and Mabel Gage, who from the outset dedicated an entire floor to artists. We would like to thank you for your loyalty, both in person and online and we look forward to celebrating the FEU with the 90th anniversary concert, which has been postponed to the end of September. A big thank you also to Anamorphée, the graphic designers who created this logo representing the FEU and its values: anamorphee.com
